I have never considered becoming a full-time blogger, as I never knew it’s possible to make an actual living out of it.
After reading countless blogging success stories, such as Michelle Gardener’s story or the story of Abby of Just a Girl and Her Blog, I found that the secret to success to being a full-time blogger is a simple recipe.
Things you need to become a full-time blogger
If you read all the blogging success stories out there, you will see that the highest-earning bloggers advise you to have patience, as starting a blog or making money out of it does not come overnight.
Patience in blogging, the same as in everything in life, can take you places you never expected.
You will need to ace the art of perseverance alongside patience, as you will need it every time you feel that you are not getting anywhere with your blog.
Whenever you feel down or not motivated, endure a bit more, as becoming a full-time blogger opportunity is, apparently, right around the corner.
This is the single most important advice that all full-time bloggers give, as you need to be passionate about what you are writing.
Choose one blogging niche that you are passionate enough about, that you will be able to provide value to your readers.

If you want your blog to become a successful full-time blogger you will need to work hard to get there.
Full-time blogging is no easy job. In fact, it’s so challenging that many people quit before seeing any results. It might take years of hard work but if you look at the lifestyle of some bloggers, it’s safe to say it’s all worth it.
Heck, if you don’t succeed, at least you will learn to ace your skills in setting up a blog.
Full-time blogging is a full-time job. It is your own business and you need to treat it as such.
Once you start to look at blogging as your own business and not just as a hobby, you will start seeing results.
You need to have a strategy if you want to monetize your blog and become a full-time blogger.
You need to know exactly who will you be helping or bringing value to, with the content that you are writing.
Once you know your target audience it will be easy to create a strategy and know which channels to use to promote your blog.
For example, if you are a travel blogger, you are most probably targeting millennials, so it’s safe to say that Instagram should be a key channel for you.
Invest in yourself
A constant in all blogging success stories is investment.
This does not have to be in a financial form if you don’t have the capabilities in the beginning.
There are thousands of tutorial videos and articles on everything related to starting a blog and becoming successful.
I started reading as much as I could about everything related to blogs, from how to start a blog, how to make money blogging, how WordPress works and everything in between and I still do.
I implement everything that I learn step by step. I do not rush, as patience, mentioned above, is one the most important elements in succeeding with a blog.
